Zoe McCabe

I am a freelance portrait painter and illustrator, living and working in Bedfordshire, England.

I have studied both Fine Art and Art History, gaining a BA (hons) degree in the History of Art at The Courtauld Institute, before continuing my painting studies in Paris. 

I later trained as a teacher of Art and have taught in Secondary Schools for 20 years. 

My inspirations include Rembrandt, Lauren Child, Vermeer, James Jean, Drew Struzan and Shaun Tan.

My focus is  portraiture and illustration, and I enjoy working on a wide range of commissioned projects, working from life or photography.
